Mike Meadows
Associate Pastor & Interim Worship Leader
Mike has been on staff since February, 1994, serving as Minister of Music and Prayer until the end of 1999. He is now our Associate Pastor, focusing on pastoral ministries, prayer ministry, missions, hospital visitation and other ministries, as needed.

Raised in Lufkin, Mike graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 1970 with a degree in Bible. He married Cathie Carpenter in 1971. After finishing his Master of Music in Church Music at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1975, he, Cathie and daughter Laura left for Japan where they were missionaries until 1982.  Mike also served as Minister of Music and Discipleship for 11 years at First Baptist Church, Clovis, N.M. before coming to Boerne.

The Meadows have two children, Laura, a San Antonio schoolteacher, and Chris, who is married to Heather and works for Fidelity Investments in Dallas. Cathie is a music teacher and Fine Arts Administrator for the Boerne Independent School District.
