Danny Phillips
Pastor to Students
Danny was born in San Antonio on December 30, 1980 and has lived in Boerne since the age of four. At the age of eight, Danny accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and, as he moved into the high school setting, he became more involved with the student ministry here at FBC. It was at the first Camp Chi-Rho that he felt God's call into ministry.

After completing high school in Boerne, he traveled down the road to the University of Texas at San Antonio where he played outfield for the Roadrunner baseball team. During his four years at UTSA, he interned for the FBC Student Ministry and during two of his college summers, he traveled with Athletes in Action to Central and South America to play baseball and tell the people the good news of Jesus Christ.

Danny completed his Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with a minor in Psychology in the spring of 2003. He is currently enrolled at B.H. Carroll Theological Institute, pursuing a Master of Divinity while serving in FBC's Student Ministry.  Danny married Lindsey Woodard in January 2006, and they desire to reach students and the families of Boerne together, for the glory of God.
