Associate Minister to Families with Children
Kay Lynn Estes was born in Corpus Christi on February 20, 1972. At the age of three, she moved with her family to Houston, where she grew up. After accepting Christ as her Savior at the age of nine, God called her into the ministry at thirteen.
She attended Houston Baptist University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and Child Development. She graduated May, 1993 and went directly to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where she received a Master of Arts in Religious Education, with a concentration in Childhood Education.
Upon graduation in May, 1996, she was called as the Minister of Childhood Education at a church in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Following two years of service there, God called her to FBC where she has served since June 15, 1998. Her heart’s desire is to do her part to “Train up [children] in the way [they] should go and when [they] are old, [they] will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
Another wonderful change God brought into Kay Lynn’s life while here in Boerne was changing her name to Kay Lynn Graves when she married Craig Graves on September 23, 2000. Craig and Kay Lynn are now the parents of Briana (born 8/29/03), Camden (born 4/13/06), and Dalton (born 3/22/07).
