Pastor's Prayer Partners is a ministry that has been a great opportunity for children (grades K through 6th) and the Senior Pastor for the past 8 years. Children "partner" with me to pray for me and the church.

The children are taught how to pray and who the Bible says they ought to be praying for. They have short training sessions, then several events throughout the year to give them opportunity to pray not only with me but leaders at the local, state, and national level.

The first Sunday of each month they meet me at the altar steps of the Worship Center and pray with me 10 minutes before the service they attend. They go on prayer walks in Boerne for community leaders (grades K through 6th), in Austin with state officials (3rd through 6th grades), and in Washington, D.C. with national officials (6th graders). A prayer walk is an opportunity to prepare people and a place for God to work.
