You can make a meaningful impact by sponsoring a child\, donating a gift\, or volunteering. Let’s make this holiday season truly special! \nGifts support families through the following ministry partners: \n\nHill Country Daily Bread: Buy gifts for disadvantaged children whose families are mentored at our ministry partner\, Hill Country Daily Bread. Please limit the gift value to $30. Gifts should be returned by November 23.\nOperation Christmas Child: A shoebox full of items to be shipped to children around the world. Pick one up starting November 2\, fill it\, and return on or before November 23.** All gifts can be returned to the Plaza on Sunday mornings or the church offices during office hours ***\n\nHow to Give \n1. DESCRIPTION:Foster parents are needed desperately across the state of Texas – perhaps now more than ever. More than 400\,000 children are in foster care in the United States\, including more than 31\,000 in Texas alone. \nAs Christians\, we’re called to “look after orphans and widows in their distress” (James 1:27) and to help “the least of these” (Matthew 25:40).
