SUMMARY:Uganda Mission Trip - June 2026
DESCRIPTION:Uganda Mission Trip\nJune 6–20\, 2026\nCost $3\,400 per person\nApplication Due: February 1\, 2026\nDeposit: $200 due 3/1 \nPurpose of the Trip:\nIt has been said that African faith is a mile wide\, but only an inch deep. This trip is designed to address that very problem. FBC members have the opportunity to serve our African brothers and sisters by sharing the faith in Christ Jesus. This hands-on service trip focuses on developing Christian families and churches in three distinct parts of Uganda. \nMinistry:\nOur ministry days will take place in Gulu\, Rakai\, and Kampala. We will work hard to positively impact the lives of children who have very little and teach them to believe what God says about them\, rather than the world. There will be time for open ministry to the Dinka and Madi children in refugee camps\, evangelism training in Kampala\, and VBS in Rakai. \nOther ministry activities include leading Bible studies\, teaching at the pastor’s college\, serving the blind\, sharing your testimony in a prison\, and distributing food packages to starving people. We will be sharing the Gospel wherever we go!

This trip will provide an opportunity to continue building upon established relationships and new ones. This will be a wonderful opportunity for middle and high school youth to experience a life-changing mission trip. \nMinistry:\nWe will work in the Milagro I/II\, Esfuerzo\, and Cuna Maya communities. Mission activities could include work projects\, children’s Bible stories and activities\, community outreach\, and working with the local churches to help support them. The mission team will work alongside the local pastors and missionaries in Cancun. The poverty is widespread\, and the need for Christ is evident.

SUMMARY:Malawi Mission Trip - June 2026
DESCRIPTION:Malawi Mission Trip\nJune 16–30\, 2026\nCost $3\,200 per person\nApplication Due: February 1\, 2026\nDeposit: $500 due 3/16 \nPurpose of the Trip:\nThe purpose of the trip is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to develop fully devoted followers of Christ. The trip will require two whole weeks. Four days are needed for travel time. One day will be dedicated to a community welcome\, and another day will be reserved for a farewell celebration and wrap-up with the Divine Mission Ministry Team. We plan for seven days of ministry work and one day of Sabbath rest. \nMinistry:\nWe are currently interacting with the Chewa people of Masinja 2 Village; however\, our goal is to work with the Yao people of Malawi\, an unreached people group according to the Joshua Project. What God has been doing in this location in the last few years is astounding. Any village Chiefs have come to faith in Christ. C members have been training these leaders to extend the Gospel to new villages and even regions in the days to come.

DESCRIPTION:Moldova Mission Trip\nJuly 3 – 13\, 2026\nCost $3\,500 per person\nApplication Due: January 31\, 2026\nDeposit: $500 due 2/28 \nPurpose of the Trip:\nFBC has been going to the country of Moldova for many years. Our purpose will be to learn how God is moving and imagine what we can do to partner with God in this amazing place. We will partner with KBC and the seminary students to lead outreach events for youth\, older people\, and children\, including sports camps\, food distribution\, and VBS. \nMinistry:\nMoldova is the poorest country in Europe and\, like many former Soviet Republics\, has only begun to open to Christianity since 1991\, when the Soviet Union collapsed. Our partners in Chisinau were among the first Evangelical Christians in Moldova. Kishinev Bible Church and its Bible Seminary have been a beacon of the Gospel for almost 30 years. We may have opportunities in other cities\, potentially visiting other church plants.

DESCRIPTION:Young Adult Guatemala Mission Trip\nAugust 1 – 7\, 2026\nCost $1\,500 per person\nApplication Due: April 1\, 2026\nDeposit: $500 due upon Application Approval \nPurpose of the Trip:\nYoung Adults (18-25ish) are encouraged to take this inaugural trip to Guatemala\, partnering with One More Child. \nA vibrant nation that is rich in Mayan heritage\, Guatemala continues to develop after years of civil and ethnic unrest. Guatemala has the 6th highest rate of growth stunting of children due to malnutrition\, according to a 2019 UNICEF report. About 1 million children under the age of 5 suffer from chronic malnutrition. Stunted growth can cause severe developmental delays and increase the risk of death. Through targeted feeding programs\, integrated social work\, counseling\, education\, and accountability\, children and families in their programs have access to the support they need to thrive. \nMinistry:\nServe and share the hope of the Gospel of Jesus with vulnerable children and those who have been affected by trafficking in Guatemala. As a secondary benefit\, we hope to provide our young adult community at FBC Boerne with a rich discipleship opportunity.

This team will visit modern-day churches in Cairo\, Luxor\, and Sohag and worship with them during Sunday service. This trip includes a cultural visit to the pyramids and important sites around Cairo! \nMinistry:\nGod has been moving powerfully among the Egyptians in the last decade or so. Some reports say that as many as 10 million Egyptians have turned to Christ! Our trip is being led by an FBC church member that is both Egyptian and has been leading trips there with for the last 20 years. The highlights of this trip include the opportunity to meet with church leaders who serve both inside and outside of Egypt. We will spend time encouraging and fellowshipping with the leaders in-country. We will learn about and discuss church planting and evangelism efforts.

Our partners in this area are engaging people from multiple unreached people groups who have been displaced from their homes and countries of origin. This trip is highly strategic and over the last few years has greatly encouraged our FBC Missions family and Staff. \nMinistry:\nThe ministry could include visiting refugee camps in the Middle East\, visiting the Bible Warehouse to understand the distribution plan\, visiting local house churches\, and training local believers in the disciple-making movement. If the team consists of medical personnel (doctor\, nurse\, PT\, etc.)\, opportunities exist to serve refugee camps in the Middle East.

DESCRIPTION:Republic of Georgia Mission Trip\nOctober 30 – November 10\, 2026\nCost $3\,000 per person\nApplication Due: April 30\, 2026\nDeposit: $500 due upon Application Approval \nPurpose of the Trip:\nThis will be the 2nd year to take a mission team to the Republic of Georgia. This trip will focus on women’s leadership training to equip and encourage women in leadership roles in emerging evangelical churches in Georgia. A portion of the trip may also be dedicated to the pastor’s training. \nMinistry:\nGeorgia is an amazing and historic country. Although small\, it sits at a crossroads of the world\, and almost every major world empire has crossed through this country. Amazingly\, it has retained its own culture and language. We will host a leadership retreat\, providing Bible study\, evangelical training tools\, and encouragement to leaders who are seeking to evangelize and minister to women in their local communities. By encouraging and equipping the women of the church\, we will contribute to the goal of sharing the love of Christ and His Gospel with as many people as possible. Additional days will be spent prayer walking and visiting local churches.
