You can make a meaningful impact by sponsoring a child\, donating a gift\, or volunteering. Let’s make this holiday season truly special! \nGifts support families through the following ministry partners: \n\nHill Country Daily Bread: Buy gifts for disadvantaged children whose families are mentored at our ministry partner\, Hill Country Daily Bread. Please limit the gift value to $30. Gifts should be returned by November 23.\nOperation Christmas Child: A shoebox full of items to be shipped to children around the world. Pick one up starting November 2\, fill it\, and return on or before November 23.** All gifts can be returned to the Plaza on Sunday mornings or the church offices during office hours ***\n\nHow to Give \n1. Go to the Giving Tree in the Plaza or the foyers of the Family Life Building and the Kids Building. \n2. Take an ornament from the tree or a box from under the tree. Each ornament or shoebox represents a child to buy a gift for. \n3. DESCRIPTION:Pastor Jason is starting a brand new sermon series called Legacy. In it\, we will walk through a journey to discover what we want our legacy to be in our personal lives and over the next 125 years here at First Baptist. \nA little over two years ago\, pastoral leadership and the Church Council began to take a look at our campus master plan to ensure that we have a plan as our church family grows and to be good stewards of the amazing resources of a campus we have. With these two points in mind\, the Church Council formed the Facilities & Ministry Innovation Committee (FMIC). This committee has worked tirelessly for more than a year and a half\, and their work has led to the excitement of our Legacy campaign. Along with the pastoral staff and Church Council\, the FMIC has spent hours in prayer seeking God’s guidance to see where God is leading our church in the years to come.
