1. What stood out to you from the sermon?
2. What are some of the names the world admires?
   a) Read 1 Sam. 12:22, Jer. 13:11, 2 Sam. 7:23, Isa. 63:12-14, Ps. 106:7-8, Neh. 9:10,
Ezek. 20:9, and Dan. 9:15. What can we learn from these passages about
God's name being glorified?
   b) Read Philippians 1:18b-26. Whose name is Paul seeking to elevate? What
does it look like for us to imitate Paul and live a life focused on honoring the
name of God above everything else?
3. Are our prayers usually focused on “hallowed be God’s name,” or is the root of
our heart usually "hallowed be my own name"?
   a) What’s the greatest hinderance to us praying "hallowed be God's name"?
   b) What does it mean for us to pray like this, not just for yourself but for others?
4. There are many names of God in the Bible. Here are a few from the Old
Testament. Which name of God is most impactful to you today?

   h. Jehovah Mekadesh – The Lord Who Sanctifies You – Leviticus 20:8
   i. Jehovah Rohi – The Lord Is My Shepherd – Psalm 23:1
   j. Jehovah Rophe – The Lord Heals – Exodus 15:26
   k. Jehovah Shalom – The Lord Is Peace – Judges 6:24

5. Spend some time praying that God would make His name HOLY. Pray that His
name is honored amongst men, famous – so that all of who He is would be known,
in our life, in our church's life, in Boerne and among the nations.
