Prayer is one of the main ways that we stay connected to God, and it is a core discipline in the life of the believer.

Andrea H. Is having surgery to remove cancerous tumor 8/24. It will be a long and somewhat complicated surgery. Pray for complete removal and healing and continued growth in her new faith.
Fernando Polanco will have surgery 8/26 to remove a cancerous tumor and it is complicated because of location around an artery. Please pray for surgery to be complication free and for miraculous healing of pancreatic cancer. Recovery from this type of surgery is also supposed to be very difficult so pray for recovery and those taking care of him during that time.

A prayer request has been made by Julie for her mom, Mrs. Gossage and their family. Mrs. Gossage has brain cancer and has now been taken off all meds and life support because there is no hope - half of her brain is dead. She is near death. Julie's dad is Dan of Dan's Pool service in Boerne- he takes care of several of our church members. Family is having a hard time with this tragic situation Please pray for God's strength and for His comfort for each of them.

Can you please be in prayer for my wife and I? We have been going thru some financial stress for some time now. I lost a good job a few years back and have had to humbly start over in the same company in a different department with about a 1/3 of what I was making. My wife has had to be the bread winner for a few years now and it’s put a heavy strain on her, us and the kids are starting to feel our stress.
I’ve applied and have been applying for several positions that I have experience in, but still nothing promising. I also have been applying to be a teacher after having obtained my alt. Teacher cert.
Please be in prayer for us and for my wife that she learns to trust that God will take care of us and that she’s receptive to praying with me.
