During COVID-19, all activities are suspended.
This ministry is led by a senior adult ministry team that provides our senior adults with the encouraging fellowship and support that they need. This is done primarily through potlucks and enjoyable day trips typically planned every other month. We also visit shut-ins and provide transportation for them (Angels on Wheels).
Maranatha is a ministry of fellowship and music to residents of area assisted living facilities, nursing, and retirement homes. It is open to all seniors. The choir meets every Wednesday morning for rehearsal or travel.
Visitation Ministry Teams
Interested in visiting FBC members who are shut in, homebound, in the hospital, or in a nursing home? Contact Kathy Vick if you are interested in joining our hospital visitation team.
Senior Adult Ministry Team
Members meet quarterly to plan ministries and activities. Meetings are open to all. Focus of the ministry team is prayer; knowing the heart of God; building closer relationships; witnessing to younger persons; spiritual growth and health; and bringing joy to others.
Angles on Wheels Ministry
Our angels volunteer free transportation for FBC members with medical and dental appointments, shopping trips, and pharmacy pickups. If you need help or are interested in volunteering, call Suzanne Lame.
These are currently on hold due to COVID-19.
