One of the greatest joys of being a parent is guiding your child to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You bring your child to Bible Study and other church activities where they can learn what the Bible says. You may have family devotion times as well.

When a child begins to understand that God wants them to become a part of His eternal family, he or she may start asking questions. Be aware of your child’s spiritual interests and be ready to respond.

• A=Admit—Admit to God that you are a sinner. Repent, turning away from your sin. Read Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Acts 3:19, and 1 John 1:9.
• B=Believe—Believe that Jesus is God’s Son and accept God’s gift of forgiveness from sin. Read John 3:16, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:8-9, and John 1:11-13.
• C=Confess—Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Read Romans 10:9 and Romans 9:10-13.
