Prayer is one of the main ways that we stay connected to God, and it is a core discipline in the life of the believer.

Please pray for the family of Tell F, a good friend of our daughter and son-in-law in Blanco. Thursday Tell was loading a zero turn lawnmower on tracks onto his pickup. Somehow, it fell over with him on it, and pinned him underneath. He had surgery on Saturday on his spine, and was told he would never walk again. Tell is 48 years old, with a wife, adult son and HS daughter. Four years ago, this family lost Tell's youngest brother, Cody, to a ranch accident. Please pray for Tell's family and his parents...that the Lord would cover them with His grace and love as their lives have changed dramatically, once again. If it be the Lord's will, pray for a miracle of healing. Also pray for Tell's mental coping skills; he is not handling the news well currently. Thank you for praying!

My sister Sandra has lung cancer again. She has less than a year to live. I am not ready for this. I think she has been preparing herself for this news, but we thought she had longer. Please pray for a miraculous healing for her and for her to have His peace that is beyond all understanding. We are in shock right now. Thank you.

Update on Pete C from Wally: Pete’s surgery was successful. He has a metal plate and lots of screws. He is to be no weight bearing for three months which will be challenging as he moves from bed to wheelchair. Please pray for Pete to be patient; for his caretakers to meet this challenge in love and patience as well; and for correct healing. Pray that Pete feels the Lord’s presence each day.

I have been struggling with depression and anxiety for 15 years. Over the past year and a half, it has become more complex and the treatments that previously helped are no longer helping. There are days when I feel completely hopeless. Please pray that I would have the strength and faith to endure and that the Lord would help me find the right treatment.
