In our first week of the Emmanuel Revealed series, we focus on what was revealed to John during his exile on Patmos. John saw Jesus as the Heavenly high priest that He is. He also has a vision of seven lampstands, representing the churches he is writing to and in which Jesus has words of encouragement and rebuke. We are reminded that Jesus is in our midst as a church. Emmanuel means God with us. We must not see Jesus as we want to see Him, but as He is, the Divine High Priest.
