As we reflect on 2026, our hearts overflow with gratitude for the ways God has worked through His people at First Baptist Church Boerne. This year’s Ministry Report is more than facts and figures—it’s a story of faith, generosity, and transformation. Behind every number is a life changed, a prayer answered, and a step of faith taken as we carry God’s mission forward together.
Faithfulness and Growth
Throughout the year, God’s hand has been evident in every ministry:
- 48 baptisms and 125 new members joined our church family.
- More than 750 children heard the Gospel at Vacation Bible School.
- Over 130 students encountered Jesus at Camp Chi Rho.
Together, we continue to see people find belonging, purpose, and the hope of Christ in our community.
Lighting the Way: A Legacy of Faith and Future
This year, our church family has come together with extraordinary generosity to move the Legacy Campaign forward—a vision to create spaces where future generations will encounter Jesus.
As of October 2025, we’ve committed more than $6.8 million and received over 63% of those commitments. Through partnerships with Visioneering Studios and Joeris General Contractors, construction is underway for our Children’s Building and Worship Center Seating Expansion—projects that reflect our shared commitment to gospel-centered ministry that transforms lives.
“These projects represent more than construction—they’re a reflection of a church determined to make room for the next generation to know and follow Jesus.”
Generosity in Action
Behind every budget line is a story of faith. Our $4.64 million proposed ministry budget represents a deep commitment to stewardship and mission:
- $598,000 toward Missions & Evangelism
- $524,000 for Multigenerational Discipleship
- $880,000 for Administration & Facilities
- $2.3 million supporting our ministry staff
Business Council Chair Michael Dippo shared, “We walk a careful line between faith and stewardship—funding ministry wisely while stepping out in trust because we believe God is leading us to invest boldly in His mission.”
Every Gift Has a Heartbeat
In her reflection, Kim Ball, our Business Operations Director, shared: “Every gift has a heartbeat. It’s a reflection of faith, love, and a shared commitment to God’s work.” This spirit of faithfulness is visible in every ministry, every volunteer, and every act of generosity that makes our mission possible.
Looking Ahead
As we step into 2026, we celebrate not only what God has done but what He’s preparing us for next. From expanding facilities to growing missions and discipleship, we’re trusting Him for even greater things in Boerne and beyond.
Together, we are carrying God’s mission forward — in Boerne and beyond.
