100° is the magic number!

If your temperature is 100 degrees or above, you will be asked to leave worship services.

If you have experienced any of the following symptoms in the last 48 hours, please do not attend services – do not put yourself or others at risk!

  • Fever or Chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Abdominal pain

What is FBC Boerne doing to provide a safe campus against COVID-19?

  • Anti-bacterial/viral electrostatic spraying is performed in each room after each major activity, in addition to the normal janitorial cleaning,
  • Masks and hand sanitizer are available at all entrances to buildings.
  • All rooms have a maximum occupancy posted based on six-foot social distancing.
  • Classrooms are provided with on-site and Zoom (online) capabilities for the class upon request.
  • Room-by-Room and Ministry-by-Ministry protocols have been developed for cleaning toys, books, equipment, surfaces, and other appropriate materials between uses.
  • We may require temperature checks before entering a building.
  • Worship Center seating is set up to provide for social distance seating.
  • We are staying in contact with local and state health authorities and government officials to respond immediately to changing conditions.
  • Offering online access to Worship Services and Growth Groups, and other ministry activities as requested.
  • Printed paperwork, Bibles, hymnals, and other potential materials that may carry the Coronavirus have been eliminated or greatly reduced from distribution.
  • Additional safety precautions are in place for children’s activities.

Minimum requirements to attend activities on the FBC Campus.

  • Facemasks are to be worn at all times when moving about the campus, within buildings, and within the classroom. Facemasks may be removed once you are seated or stationary and socially distanced from others in the room.
  • Social distancing (6 feet from any individual) is to be maintained in all settings. Family members may sit closer. Growth Group classrooms have been given a maximum occupancy based on the 6-foot social distance protocol. Spouses can sit next to spouses; however, maintain the social distance between other class members.
  • Open food and beverage carried around the campus are discouraged. Wrapped, bagged, and sealed food containers are acceptable.
  • Liberal use of hand sanitizer is encouraged, and containers are available throughout the campus.
  • If you know or confirmed through testing that you have been exposed to the Coronavirus, you will self-quarantine from campus activities for the required number of days.
  • Be cheerful and respectful if you are asked to take a temperature upon entering a building. It is for the safety of all!
  • Regrettably, we must ask you to refrain from direct human contact with those outside your family unit. Hugging, handshakes, and close circles of fellowship create too great a risk for exposure to COVID.

What is expected of Ministry and Activity Leadership to create a safe environment for your group?

  • Leadership will provide a written or oral review of the COVID-19 protocol for the event to participants.
  • Leadership will require attendees to follow each element of the protocol with grace and love.
  • Some activities on campus involve more risk. This might include physical sports activities, eating from a common serving area, or direct contact in exchanging materials and objects. When appropriate, leadership will have each participant sign a Release Waiver.

What is expected of a group or non-FBC organization meeting on the church campus?

  • Provide FBC with a copy of your organization’s COVID protocol for meetings and events.
  • Read and share the FBC COVID protocol with your leadership and advise FBC of any concerns or inability to comply.
  • Follow the FBC Protocol as a minimum standard.
  • Make FBC Boerne aware of any incident where an attendee may have been a COVID carrier while on campus.
